Sugar syrup where and when you need it
Make your own sugar syrup with Super Refined Crystal Sugar. It is the highest quality white crystal sugar available. It is naturally cleaned and coloured so you don’t have to worry about any contaminants. In heavy or light syrup mixes, it combines well with other bee nutrition and pollen substitutes. Convenient to use in top feeders with a bee saver, or frame feeders with a ladder.

Feeding tips for best results
For a heavy sugar syrup equivalent to 67% BRIX, mix 2kg of Super Refined Sugar with a litre of warm water.

For a lighter syrup equivalent to 50% BRIX, mix 1kg of Super Refined Sugar with a litre of warm water.

Stir the mix well and store it in an airtight container.

Dealing with Varroa
If you’ve already fed your hives before treating them for Varroa, you won’t need to remove the feed. However, it’s better not to add feed after you’ve started treatment, to avoid disrupting your hives more than necessary.
